Andrew Stamey is in his seventh season at Oconee County High School. He will serve as the wide receivers coach and offensive coordinator. Coach Stamey came to Oconee County High School after spending nine seasons at Stephens County High School as the wide receivers coach. Coach Stamey is from Canton, North Carolina and a 2000 graduate of Clyde A. Erwin High School. He went on to continue his education and play football at Appalachian State University. He then received his master’s degree in Health Science from the University of Alabama and his education specialist’s degree from Lincoln Memorial University. Coach Stamey is married to the former Kristen Thompson of Toccoa, GA and they have three children; Finn (7), Jase (7), and Grey (1 month).
